Based on the feedback and testing from our users, we've been tinkering away with our tech spanners to optimise performance and stability for both Mac and Windows.

Under the hood there have been a lot of changes which means we can't push this as an update via the app. So this time round we'll need you to uninstall the app before you update. We’ve created these guides to walk you through on and

What’s New?

1. UI Changes

  • Overall - Layout, renaming and relocation of a number of text elements.

  • Application - App name and drives changed from Amove to Click

  • Activity monitor

    • Is now available for quick access from the side bar

    • Syncs and drive uploads are now separated out

  • Admin - Access Logs, API Token and SSO relocated to Admin from Accounts menu

  • Billing - updated interface and end of trial check out

  • Connections - Added drop down for existing connection, updated the display order and added share option at the point of creation

  • Drive

    • added connection speed to the drive settings

    • Added A-Z sort for selecting external cache location

  • Sync - Added A-Z sort on storage and added drive picker for windows

  • Storage - Bucket and drive count added to Storage region

  • Support - Tickets raised from the accounts menu populate with user name, email and user type Users- Renamed Power user to Creative user

2. Fixes

  • Drive - resolved an issue where sometimes the refresh of the drive button didn’t always update the drive.

  • DropBox - resolved an issue where for some users the connection of DropBox accounts would time out

  • Sync - resolved an issue where for some users syncing via a drive didn’t complete and automatically start.

    • Available offline functionality

  • Click for Creatives (FUSE)

    • Support for macFUSE 4.9.1

    • Increased the stability of the application

    • Optimised drive mounting time when turning on multiple Click drives

3. Features

  • Demo Drive

    • Get up and running in seconds. Access an entire project of Audio, Video and Production content..

    • Click for Creatives allows for multicam HD and proxy from Amove Global storage without downloading. Available to all Owners, Admins & Creative users.

    • Direct to edit access in NLEs - FCP, Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve and more

    • Click for Every one allows for synchronized access and ability to work with clips offline. Available to every one without restart or MacFUSE install.

    • Drive demonstrates not being able to delete clips from cloud and encrypted cache.

  • Connections

    • Added support for Local S3 storage

    • Added ability to connect Amove storage from other organizations

  • Sync

    • Added automations for dynamic chunk sizing for larger files of 50GB

4. Known Issues

  • Safari - When using Safari the browser does not make Drive or Sync on/off functions available. Use Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge.

  • SMB / NFS - Functionality is limited to local mounting as we investigate backend optimisation.

  • Google Drive / OneDrive / DropBox / Box - These platforms provide the option for shared drives but are not available via Connections

  • Google Drive - Google Docs are shown as available in drives but are proprietary files so cannot be opened on local systems.

- Requires paid account for API token access to complete the connection. Currently the available V3 API has rate limits so can limit the indexing of a large number of files when using Click for Creatives.
