# How to Setup a Backup Instance

Amove allows setting up a backup instance and enables you to create a duplicate or secondary copy of the data stored in the primary cloud account. This backup copy is usually stored in a different location. The purpose of having a backup instance is to ensure that data is not lost in case of unexpected events such as hardware failure, cyber-attacks, or natural disasters. Having a backup instance provides an additional layer of protection for critical data and can help minimize downtime and data loss in the event of an outage or disaster.\
In this documentation, we will explore the steps to:

* Navigate to Backup Instance Configuration
* Set up a Backup Instance

Let's get started 🚀
