How to View & Manage Your Active Backup Instances

Amove enables you to view and manage all the backup instances that have been created in the system. You can disable an active backup instance, delete a backup instance, and change its settings. In this documentation, we will explore the steps to:

Let's get started 🚀
There are two methods to access the Active Backup Instance as follows:
Method 1
Step 1: Sign In to your Amove account and you will be navigated to the main dashboard.
Step 2: Click on the Active Backup Instances bar to view the existing backup instances.
Method 2
Step 1: Sign In to your Amove account and you will be navigated to the main dashboard.
Step 2: Click on the Sync button from the top menu on the interface.
This will redirect you to the Backup Instance Interface and you will find the Active Backup Instances at the top of the interface.
Click on the Down Caret against the Active Backup instances.
Upon clicking the down caret, the details of the active backup instances will open which are explained in the table below:
Step 1: Click on the Down Caret against the Active Backup Instances to open the details of the active backup instances.
Step 2: Select the backup instance you want to deactivate by toggling the button to the left given under the Action field.
Step 3: Upon toggling the button to the left, a deactivate confirmation opens up. If you are sure to deactivate the selected backup instance, click on the Yes button.
Once the backup instance gets deactivated, you will see a flash message in the top-right corner of the interface that “Your Backup Instance has been deactivated.”
Similarly, to activate the backup instance, toggle the button to the right given under the Action field and your backup instance will get activated again while displaying a flash message that “Your Backup Instance has been activated.”
Step 1: Open the Active Backup Instances details and click on the Settings icon of the Backup Instance for which you want to view or update the settings.
Note: For viewing the Active Backup Instances details, please refer to the above section "View an Active Backup Instance".This will redirect you to the Backup Instance Settings page and the available settings are explained in the table below:
Step 2: Make changes to the settings you want and click on the Save button to update the Backup Instance settings.
Once the backup instance settings get updated, you will be redirected to the Backup Instance interface and a flash message will display in the top-right corner of the interface that “Your Backup Instance has been updated”.
Step 1: Open the Settings page of the backup instance you want to delete. Note: For accessing the Backup Instance Settings, please refer to the above section "Change the Settings of a Backup Instance".
Step 2: Click on the Delete Backup Instance at the bottom of the page.
Step 3: A delete confirmation opens up. If you are sure to delete your backup instance, click on the Yes button.
Once the backup instance gets deleted, you will be redirected to the Backup Instance interface and a flash message will display in the top-right corner of the interface that “Your Backup Instance has been deleted”.
