In this documentation, we will explore the steps to: * Create a New Account * Sign-In to your Amove Account {% embed url="" %} Let’s get started 🚀 #### Create a New Account Step 1: [app.amove.io/signup](https://app.amove.io/signup), it will navigate you to the Sign-up page. Step 2: Enter your email address and password. # How to Recover or Reset Password If you have forgotten your Amove account password or the account has been locked due to the number of unsuccessful attempts, then you can recover the password.In this documentation, you will find step-by-step instructions to recover/reset the password to log in to your account.\ Let’s get started 🚀\ Step 1: Launch the application and navigate to the sign-in screen. #### Left Menu In the left menu, you will find different options that will navigate you to the different functionalities of the application.

If a cloud account is no longer needed, it can be removed easily from the system. For more information, please refer to the [How to View & Delete your Active Cloud Account](/accounts/how-to-view-and-delete-your-active-cloud-accounts) documentation. # How to Add a Cloud Account Amove is a centralized management platform that allows you to connect and manage multiple cloud storage services under a single roof, giving you instant on-demand multi-cloud file access to all of your content directly from your PC or Mac, and that too, from anywhere in the world.In a few simple steps, you can connect to more than 40 object storage services (cloud storage accounts) including but not limited to AWS, Azure, GCP, and more. \ In this documentation, we will explore the steps to: * Navigate to Accounts * Add a Cloud Storage Account Let's get started 🚀 #### Navigate to Accounts Step 1: Sign In to your Amove account and you will be navigated to the main dashboard.
\ Step 2: Click on the Connect button from top menu.
\ This will redirect you to the Accounts Interface.
#### Add a Cloud Storage Account Step 1: Select a cloud provider to connect your account from the available list of cloud storage services.
\ Step 2: Upon clicking the cloud option you want to connect, a sidebar from the right will appear, requesting you to enter your account credentials to initiate the connectivity. For example, if you want to connect with AWS, you will need to enter your account credentials to establish a successful connection.
\ Step 3: Enter your account credentials such as access key, secret key, etc., and assign a name to your account. The information required to establish the connectivity varies from one service to another. For example, to connect a AWS account, you need to enter the API key and API secret key.
\ Step 4: After entering the account credentials, click on the Connect button to add your cloud storage account to Amove.
\ Once your account gets connected, you will see a flash message that “Cloud Account has been successfully connected to Amove” and the icon of the connected cloud account will also display under Active Cloud Accounts.
\ Similarly, you can connect as many cloud accounts as you want to Amove. Its instant multi-cloud file access makes the organizations experience increased flexibility, security, data durability, compliance, managed backup, as well as lower costs.\ *Note: Make sure that you enter the valid credentials to add an account otherwise an error message will display.* # How to View & Delete Your Active Cloud Accounts Amove enables you to view all the active cloud accounts (connected cloud accounts) along with their buckets. If a cloud account is no longer needed, it can be removed easily from the system. In this documentation, we will explore the steps to: * Navigate to Active Cloud Accounts * View an Active Cloud Storage Account * Delete an Active Cloud Storage Account Let's get started 🚀 #### Navigate to Active Cloud Accounts Step 1: Sign In to your Amove account and you will be navigated to the main dashboard.
\ Step 2: Click on the Connect button from the top menu on the interface.
\ This will redirect you to the Accounts Interface and you will find Active Cloud Accounts at the top of the interface.
#### View an Active Cloud Storage Account on Dashboard Step 1: Click on the Down Caret against the Active Cloud Accounts.
\ Upon clicking the down caret, the details of the active cloud accounts will open which are explained in the table below: | Fields | Description | | ------- | ------------------------------------------------------ | | Name | Name of the connected cloud storage account. | | Storage | Number of the buckets associated with a cloud account. | | Delete | Functionality to delete a connected cloud account. |
\ Step 2: Click on the Number of buckets given under the Storage field to view the details of the associated buckets with an active cloud account.
\ It will open the details of the associated cloud buckets which are explained in the table below: | Fields | Description | | ------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Bucket Name | Name of the cloud bucket (Cloud buckets are the basic containers that hold your data. Everything that you store in Cloud Storage must be contained in a bucket. You can use buckets to organize your data and control access to your data.) | | Region | Defines the physical place where object data in the bucket resides. | | Created | The date on which the cloud bucket has been created. | | Create Drive | We can create a drive by clicking on this button. | | Drive Name | After clicking on Create Drive button it will open a text box to give a name to Drive. |

#### Delete an Active Cloud Storage Account Step 1: Click on the Down Caret against the Active Cloud Accounts.
\ Upon clicking the down caret, the details of the active cloud accounts will open.
\ Step 2: Select the cloud account you want to delete and click on the adjacent Trash icon given under the Action field.
\ Step 3: Upon clicking the Trash icon, a delete confirmation opens up. If you are sure to delete the selected account, click on the Yes button.
\ Once the account gets deleted, you will see a flash message in the top-right corner of the interface that “Account removed successfully” and the account you deleted will also be removed from the Active Cloud Accounts list.
# Amove Storage The **Amove Storage** feature allows users to provision and manage their storage across three different storage tiers: **Perform**, **Global**, and **Scale**. Each account can provision one of each type of storage. Users can also add regions to **Perform** and **Global** storage types, whereas the **Scale** tier is limited to a single region. # Provisioning Amove Storage Sign In to your Amove account and you will be navigated to the main dashboard.
To provision a storage type, follow these steps: Step 1: Navigate to the **Storage** page from the Amove.io dashboard by clicking on the Connect button from the top menu.
This will redirect you to the Storage Interface.
Step 2: Select the desired **Storage Tier** from the dropdown options: * **Perform** * **Global** * **Scale**
Step 3: Select the **Region** from the available list. Note that: * Both **Perform** and **Global** tiers allow the addition of multiple regions. * **Scale** is restricted to a single region.
Step 4: Click the **Provision** button to allocate the storage.
Once your Amove Storage has been set up, you will see a flash message that “New Amove Storage Created”.
**Method 2**
# Dashboard Overview The **Dashboard** section displays an overview of the current storage configuration, including:
* **All Buckets**: The number of buckets created.
* **Size**: The total amount of data stored. > Note: Storage usage and object count may take up to 24 hours to update.
# Managing Regions To add new regions for the **Perform** or **Global** storage tiers: Step 1: Click on the **Add new Region** button.
Step 2: Select the storage tier from the dropdown.
Step 3: Choose the desired region from the list of available options, which include locations such as: * Los Angeles * Oregon * Dallas * Montreal * Ireland * London * Frankfurt
Step 4: Confirm the selection to provision the new region. The list of enabled regions for each storage type, along with their corresponding S3 endpoint, is displayed under the **Enabled Regions** section. Users can copy the endpoint or delete a region as needed.
**Example** In this example, two **Global** storage regions have been provisioned: * **Amove-Scale** in Oregon with the corresponding S3 endpoint. * **Amove-Global** in Los Angeles. Both regions can be managed and edited using the **Enabled Regions** section on the dashboard. # Create a Bucket To create a new bucket within a specific storage account and region: Step 1: On the **Storage** dashboard, click the **Create a Bucket** button.
Step 2: In the **Create a Bucket** window: * Select the **Storage Account** (e.g., Amove-Global).
* Choose a **Region** (e.g., Los Angeles).
* Provide a **Bucket Name** (bucket names can contain lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens (-), and periods (.)).
Step 3: Toggle the following options as necessary: * **Default Encryption**: Enable this to encrypt all objects in the bucket by default. * **Versioning**: Enable to retain older versions of objects within the bucket. These versions can be restored as needed. * **Object Locking**: Enable this feature to prevent modification or deletion of objects for a set time duration.
Step 4: Click **Create Bucket** to finalize the bucket creation.
**Note:** The **Versioning** and **Object Locking** features are not available for buckets created in the **Scale** tier storage. # Managing Buckets Once a bucket has been created, users can view and manage it through the **Buckets** section. Step 1: Navigate to the **Buckets** tab from the sidebar on the Amove.io dashboard.
Step 2: The list of available buckets is displayed, showing the **Bucket Name**, **Region**, and **Creation Date**.
# Creating a Bucket To create a new bucket within a specific storage account and region: Step 1: On the **Storage** dashboard, click the **Create a Bucket** button.
Step 2: In the **Create a Bucket** window: * Select the **Storage Account** (e.g., Amove-Global).
* Choose a **Region** (e.g., Los Angeles).
* Provide a **Bucket Name** (bucket names can contain lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens (-), and periods (.)).
Step 3: Toggle the following options as necessary: * **Default Encryption**: Enable this to encrypt all objects in the bucket by default. * **Versioning**: Enable to retain older versions of objects within the bucket. These versions can be restored as needed. * **Object Locking**: Enable this feature to prevent modification or deletion of objects for a set time duration.
Step 4: Click **Create Bucket** to finalize the bucket creation.
> **Note:** The **Versioning** and **Object Locking** features are not available for buckets created in the **Scale** tier storage. # Bucket Options To modify a bucket's settings or manage its configuration: Step 1: Click on the settings icon next to the bucket name to open the **Bucket Options** page.
Step 2: The following settings can be adjusted: * **Default Encryption**: Enable or disable encryption for objects in the bucket. * **Versioning**: Enable or disable versioning to retain older versions of objects. * **Object Locking**: Toggle this setting to prevent modification or deletion of objects for a set duration.
Step 3: Click **Save Bucket** to apply changes or **Cancel** to discard them.
> **Note**: **Versioning** and **Object Locking** are not available for buckets created in the **Scale** tier. # Deleting a Bucket If you need to delete a bucket: Step 1: Click on the trash bin icon next to the bucket in the **Buckets** section.
Step 2: Confirm the deletion when prompted. This will remove all objects and configurations for that bucket permanently.
# Browsing Files To browse and manage files within a bucket: Step 1: Click on the **Browse Files** button next to the desired bucket.
Step 2: This will take you to the file browsing page, where you can upload, delete, or organize files stored within that bucket.
# Access Key Management The **Access Key** section allows users to create and manage S3 credential access keys, which are used to interact with Amove Storage. These credentials include an **Access Key ID** and a corresponding **Secret Key** that can be used to access storage programmatically. # Creating an Access Key Sign In to your Amove account and you will be navigated to the main dashboard and click on the Storage button from the top menu.
To create an S3 access key for Amove Storage: Step 1: Navigate to the **Access Key** tab on the sidebar.
Step 2: Click the **Create Access Key** button.
Step 3: In the **Create Access Key** window, provide the following information: * **Name**: Enter a descriptive name for the access key.
* **Enabled Regions**: Select the region for which the access key will be valid.
* **Assign Access Permission**: Choose one of the following options: * **Read**: Access objects but cannot modify them. * **Write**: Modify objects but cannot read them. * **Read and Write**: Full permissions to read and modify objects.
* **Assign Buckets**: Choose to grant access to **All buckets** or specify particular **Select buckets**.
Step 4: Click **Create Key Access** to generate the access key.
# Managing and Deleting an Access Key Once created, access keys will be listed in the **Access Key** section. Each key will display: * **Name** * **Description** * **Access Key ID** * **Region** * **Creation Date**
To delete an access key: Step 1: Click the **trash bin** icon under the **Actions** section next to the key you want to remove.
Step 2: Confirm the deletion to permanently remove the access key and associated secret.
> **Note**: Deleting an access key will revoke all access tied to that key immediately. # Drive In this documentation, we will provide you with an overview of the folowing: * How to Setup a Drive * How to View & Manage your Active Drive Let’s get started 🚀 **How to Setup a Drive** Amove allows you to create unlimited virtual drives, connected to cloud accounts on your desktop. For more information, please refer to the [How to Setup a Drive](/drive/how-to-setup-a-drive) documentation. **How to View & Manage your Active Drive** Amove enables you to view and manage all the drives that have been created in the system. You can disable an active drive, delete a drive, and change its settings.For more information, please refer to the [How to View & Manage your Active Drive](/drive/how-to-view-and-manage-your-active-drives) documentation.
# How to Setup a Drive Amove allows you to create unlimited virtual drives, connected to cloud accounts on your desktop. In this documentation, we will explore the steps to: * Navigate to Drive * Set up a Drive * Accessing the Drive Content on Local Desktop Let's get started 🚀 #### Navigate to Drive Step 1: Sign In to your Amove account and you will be navigated to the main dashboard.
\ Step 2: Click on the Drive button from top menu on the interface.
\ This will redirect you to the Drive Interface.

#### Set up a Drive Method 1 Step 1: Choose a cloud account to configure your drive from the available list of connected cloud accounts.
\ Alternatively, if you have not connected the desired cloud account yet, you can connect a new cloud account to Amove by clicking on the Connect button from top menu.
\ This will redirect you to the Accounts Interface. For more information on adding a new cloud account, please refer to the How to Add a Cloud Account documentation. \ *Note: You can change the cloud account you are using to set up the drive anytime before finishing the setup. Click on the Edit icon given against the Choose a Cloud field to update the cloud account you want to use for configuring your drive.*
\ Step 3: Assign a name to your drive.
\ Step 4: Select a bucket from the drop-down list that will populate according to the chosen cloud account.
\ Step 5: Advance Settings
\ Step 6: After that, click on the Setup Drive button to finish the setup.
\ *Note: All fields are mandatory. If you leave any field empty, the Setup Drive button will remain disabled.*\ Once your Drive has been set up, you will see a flash message that “Your Drive has been set up successfully” and you will be redirected to the dashboard.
After success message it will redirect to Dashboard and show the Drive.
#### Set up a Drive Method 2 Step 1: Open connections menu from Dashboard.
Step 2: Choose a Cloud Account.
Step 3: Click on Create Drive button in front of bucket, you want to create a drive.
Step 4: Add Name your Drive.
Step 5: Select a cloud account from the dropdown menu.
Step 6: Select a bucket from the dropdown menu.
Step 7: Toggle the following options as necessary: * Root Bucket * Create New Folder * Choose Existing Folder
Step 8: You can setup the following options as necessary: * Number of files per folder * Enable file deletion in cloud account * Encrypt Local Cache
Step 9: Click **Create Drive** to finalize the drive creation.
#### Accessing the Drive Content on Local Desktop Once your Drive has been set up, you can access its content from the selected local folder on your desktop.For example, while setting up the drive, the Amove buckets folder of Drive D on the local desktop is selected to download the cloud content.As soon as you open the selected local folder, you can view the content of the drive.
# How to View & Manage Your Active Drives Amove enables you to view and manage all the drives that have been created in the system. You can disable an active drive, delete a drive, and change its settings.In this documentation, we will explore the steps to: * Navigate to Active Drives * View an Active Drive * Deactivate/Activate a Drive * Change the Settings of a Drive * Delete a Drive Let's get started 🚀 #### Navigate to Active Drives There are two methods to access the active Drives as follows: **Method 1** Step 1: Sign In to your Amove account and you will be navigated to the main dashboard.
\ Step 2: Click on the Active Drives bar to view the existing drives.
**Method 2** Step 1: Sign In to your Amove account and you will be navigated to the main dashboard.
\ Step 2: Click on the Drive button from the top menu on the interface.
\ This will redirect you to the Drive Interface and you will find the Active Drives at the top of the interface.
#### View an Active Drive Click on the Down Caret against the Active Drives.
\ Upon clicking the down caret, the details of the active drives will open which are explained in the table below: | Fields | Description | | ------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Cloud Account | Name of the associated cloud account on which the drive has been configured. | | Drive Name | Name of the drive. | | Bucket | Associated bucket to download the cloud files. | | Settings | Drive settings | | Re-Sync | Refresh your drive to assure all content is instantly accessible. | | Action | Functionality to activate/deactivate a drive. |

#### Deactivate/Activate a Drive Step 1: Click on the Down Caret against the Active Cloud Accounts to open the details of the active drives.
\ Step 2: Select the drive you want to deactivate by toggling the button to the left given under the Action field.
\ Step 3: Upon toggling the button to the left, a deactivate confirmation opens up. If you are sure to deactivate the selected drive, click on the Yes button.
\ Once the drive gets deactivated, you will see a flash message in the top-right corner of the interface that “Your Drive has been deactivated.”
\ Similarly, to activate the drive, toggle the button to the right given under the Action field and your drive will get activated again while displaying a flash message that “Your Drive has been activated.”
#### Change the Settings of a Drive Step 1: Open the Active Drives details and click on the Settings icon of the Drive for which you want to view or update the settings.

* Select a **Bucket** from which the files or buckets will be transferred.
**Step 2: Select the Destination**: * Choose a **Cloud Account** from the destination list (e.g., wasabi).
* Select a **Bucket** where the files or buckets will be copied to.
**Step 3: Transferring Files or Buckets**: * **Transfer Bucket**: Click the **Transfer Bucket** button to transfer all files from the selected source bucket to the destination bucket.
* **Drag-and-Drop Files**: If you only need to transfer specific files, select the desired files from the source, drag them to the destination panel, and release to trigger the transfer.

For remote users you can still enable collaboration via the cloud. * Click +Sync and select a cloud destination you want to use to enable the share from. * You can select the root of the cloud * an existing folder * create a new folder. * You can then give the sync a name * Choose the storage and golfers you want to share externally * Complete setting up the sync and the contents of those folders will be back up to the cloud. * Any changes made in these folders will automatically be back up to the cloud * Create a share a drive of the synchronised folders * Remote users can then cache local files, upload new files or stream media from the cloud.

**Download** We can download a file from buckets by hovering on a file and click on three dots, then click on Download button, it will download file to your laptop.
**New Folder** We can create a new folder in selected bucket, just click on Create Folder Button.
It will open a popup, add folder name and click on Create button. It will create a folder inside slected bucket.
Now you can see that folder in the Files list.
**Upload** Click on Upload button it will open a popup.
